It has been an interesting day here in our little courtyard. The fire department came by to exact a live training burn of the historic house next door. The house was snatched up to make way for a new mixed use style restaurant and retail spot much like the spot next door where our sweet shop lives. Its a time for change here in the Belvedere Courtyard. But hey, if you are looking for a new commercial opportunity in downtown SoPi, come see us. Our little birds have told us we will soon be welcoming new neighbors! 😍

When Sarah stumbled upon this lovely piece of art in a NC thrift shop she knew it was special. We later learned that it was a limited edition lithograph by Nantucket artist Andrew Shunney, printed circa 1970. We let the fine folks at @simplyframed conserve it with their pro framing skills. Don't you just love a lucky thrift score that turns out to be a valuable treasure!? 💜
